PRIMEIRO AIRBUS A330-200 DA TAP

A TAP PORTUGAL colocou em serviço no dia 11 de Março de 2006 o primeiro AIRBUS A330-200 a integrar a frota da companhia, dando início à renovação da frota de longo curso.

Com o nome INFANTE D. HENRIQUE e a matrícula CS-TOF, o novo avião chegou a Lisboa a 9 de Março vindo de Hamburgo onde recebeu as cores da TAP, e está a fazer as carreiras Lisboa-Paris e Lisboa-Fortaleza, numa rotação diária. Tem capacidade para 262 passageiros (24 em Executiva e 238 em Turística).

O INFANTE D. HENRIQUE é o primeiro dos oito A330-200 com os quais a TAP vai substituir os actuais A310 até 2008. Os segundo e terceiro A330 chegam no final deste mês e em Abril próximo.

TAP FIRST AIRBUS A330-200

TAP PORTUGAL introduced on 11th March 2006 its first AIRBUS A330-200, starting the renewal of the long-distance fleet.

The new airliner arrived Lisbon on 9th March from Hamburg where the TAP colours were applied and was named INFANTE D. HENRIQUE in honour of Prince Henry. With the registration number CS-TOF, it operates daily-flights Lisbon-Paris and Lisbon-Fortaleza.

With accommodation for 262 passengers (24 Executive and 238 Tourist), the INFANTE D. HENRIQUE is the first of eight A330-200 scheduled to replace TAP present A310s until 2008. The second and third A330 join the company fleet later this month and in April 2006.
