CUBANA's ILYUSHIN II-96-300

Most airliners flying to Lisbon these days are AIRBUSes, including the TAP fleet aircrafts, and they are mostly medium and short range airliners.
The only Boeing 747s to be seen in Lisbon regularly are those operated by TAAG, but another very interesting and unusual large airliner, the Ilyushin II-96-300 of CUBANA de Aviacion, can also be seen with a little bit of luck.. On 30th March we took several photographs of CUBANAS' CU-TI250, The photographs in the post were taken when the airliner was going to take off for Havana.

TAP PORTUGAL AIRBUS A319s

With 17 aircrafts of the A319-311 series, the medium range AIRBUS A319 represents the largest part of the TAP fleet in terms of number of units. With registration numbers from CS-TTA to CS-TTQ, they were delivered between December 1997 and January 2000 replacing TAPs final Boeing 737-300.

Most are still painted in TAP old colours but a few already wear the new livery introduced in 2005.
